Did you see our news? We representing Scotland in the Massage Olympics . . .

Dear Reader

If you're on social media you may have seen ur news in this post.

So we're calling it the massage olympics between ourselves but seriously we have both been asked to represent Scotland in the National Massage Tournament (in Paris in October).

And yes, it is a thing and full transparency, when we were first contacted about this we initially we thought it was a scam. But after meetings with the team leader to find out more we agreed to be part of team Scotland.

Jo will be taking part in the bodywork category representing not only Scotland but also KCR and Yoga Therapy.

Kev will be taking part in the Ayurveda Massage category and have to admit, Massage is not how I thought I would ever represent Scotland and I wonder if anyone has ever done Ayurveda Massage in a Kilt 🤔

This is the first time Scotland have entered the competition and is an incredible honour, but it also comes with significant costs. As an independent team, we are responsible for funding every aspect of our journey ourselves.

The team are aiming to raise £3,500 to help cover expenses and have set up a Go Fund Me and we would be extremely grateful for any donation you can.

We have reached an amazing £2406 at the time of writing his and are feeling very overwhelmed and supported right now.

Any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated and if you know of any companies that offer sponsorship for sporting events or would be wiling to sponsor our team with clothing, embroidery, equipment, please get in touch.

We’d also really love for you to share our social media, like comment, share and support us online as we share our journey with you.

Thanks so much for your support.

Love

Jo & Kev

Dear Reader Good afternoon, I hope everyone is enjoying this glorious sunshine! Kev and I were chatting this morning about our clients. I was telling him about a client who came in yesterday for her last session on the Hip & Back programme — she told me her back "went" recently, and for a second I felt so disappointed for her, my brain automatically trying to work out why. But as she explained it and she'd clearly thought it through, because she knew I'd ask lots of questions. I noticed she...

Dear Reader You might have noticed it's been quiet from me lately. We've been head-down on a few projects behind the scenes and one of them is personal. I've been reworking my calendar of in-person events for the year, giving Remedy, our membership, a proper reinvention, and doing some deep thinking about what I actually do. The truth is, I've stopped calling myself a yoga teacher. It's like a piece of clothing that no longer fits. I don't need to sell you on what yoga is, you've been to a...

Dear Reader When I was struggling with hip pain, I wish someone had told me this… Like so many people, I reached for the usual fixes:Painkillers. Stretching. Foam rolling. Even ignoring it.Because when your body hurts, it makes sense to try to release that tension. Here’s what I wish I’d known: 👉 Stretching alone isn’t the answer. 👉 Mobility is. Mobility isn’t just about being flexible. It’s your body’s ability to move freely, easily, and confidently – with strength and stability behind every...
